Limits
It works on https pages. Chrome's own pages and the Web Store cannot be scripted. Some rich editors, such as Google Docs, handle input in their own way and may ignore inserted text. Speech recognition is provided by Chrome and needs an internet connection. See the privacy policy for details.
No extension needed
You can also use the web tools directly: voice to text, voice translator, audio to text and live captions.
FAQ
Is the extension free?
Yes. There is no account and no subscription.
Does Voxoira store what I say?
No. Speech recognition is done by Chrome, and Voxoira does not collect your speech or text.
Which browsers does it work on?
Chrome. Other Chromium browsers may work but are not tested.
Why does it not work in Google Docs?
Google Docs uses a custom editor that often ignores inserted text. Use Google's own voice typing there.
